Although Jakob Gasteiger startet his career when the Austrian  "Neue Wilde" painters like Brandl, Damisch, Anzinger, Bohatsch, Mosbacher, Reinhold, Scheibl, Schmalix got famous, his work is completely different - abstract, not expressive, minimalistic.
