Rainer Prohaska - Drawing an Orange Line
While Monika Grzymala and other artists of the exhibition Drawing Now at the museum Albertina in Vienna transcend the two-dimensionality of drawing, Rainer Prohaska does not content himself with the limits of the building‘s inner space and intervenes on the Albertina’s facade with his installation. In his conceptual examination of the Albertina’s architecture he stretches orange coloured straps around the building, reminding of a drawn line, connecting the various parts of the architecture. Not only does he include the third dimension into his narrative riddle, but the surrounding city as well. (written by Cem Angeli)
