KOMET, he is a star and one of the most renowned turkish artists of his generation. His oeuvre is multifaceted. He examines the possibilities of language, he dives into history as the stock of the often unconscious imagery of cultures, his performances provoke and reflect power.
The artist lives in Istanbul and Paris. His works haven't been on display in Vienna for years, but now he is back. At C.A. Contemporary the show with recent works of the artist opens on November 30. and will be opened till January 30.
For us a good reason and chance to meet the gallery owner Cem Angeli and to visit KOMET at his Istanbul atelier to produce a short film.
